When Hushed Voices Die
In the conservatory’s legendary piano room, a young pianist discovers a century‑old spirit who quietly becomes her secret mentor — reshaping her art, her fate, and her understanding of genius.
Released in 2021, this first novel introduced the emotional terrain that Rainclay continues to explore: the uneasy meeting point between daily life and deeper psychological currents —a fascination with human vulnerability, the subtle fractures within relationships, and the quiet discomfort that arises when inner truths press against the surface of lived experience.
